Join our Research in Partnership Trainee Journal Club and connect with a community dedicated to research done in partnership with older adults and people with lived/living experience. This unique gathering offers the opportunity to share insights, learn from peers, and critically reflect on your work in an engaging and supportive virtual space. Whether you’re new to this approach or already have experience, the Journal Club is a platform to enhance your skills and knowledge.

When?

Meetings will take place every few months during the academic year.

Where?

Virtual: Trainees will be provided with a Zoom link after registration.

How to Join

Sign up for alerts to receive an invitation for virtual meetings as they are scheduled throughout the academic year. Please note that there is no commitment to attend all meetings you are invited to.   

What to Expect

  • Engage in thoughtful discussions: Collectively debate and critically reflect on the complexities of research done in partnership with people with lived/living experience.
  • Build connections: These virtual gatherings provide an engaging environment for trainees to discuss, ponder and debate the nuances of doing research in partnership with people with lived/living experience and to spark new ideas and questions that can lead to future collaborations. 
  • Facilitated by trainees: Meetings are co-facilitated by trainees, ensuring that the discussions are relevant and beneficial to all participants.
